Norm Adams, Julia Robertson - Over



Norm Adams and Julia Robertson have been dubbed “Today’s Ashford and Simpson” by fans, media personalities and music industry insiders alike. Each a successful artist in their own right, together they bring a musical element that has been sorely missing from the current landscape; the great R&B duet.  
Julia achieved fame in the 90’s as part of Ex –Girlfriend, a girl group created and produced by the legendary Full Force. Their debut album “X Marks The Spot” spawned the Billboard Top 5 hit “Why Can’t You Come Home?”.  Norm is an accomplished singer/songwriter who garnered international acclaim with his album, “This Is My Time”. His creative style has often been compared to Babyface, Ne-Yo and Bruno Mars. In 2016, they combined their talents for the first time on a sultry, romantic ballad entitled “Body Rush”, which Entrigue Magazine called a “playful tease that exudes hormones”.  It was well received around the world, hitting #1 on R&B Soul Effect TV, and the Top 10 on Digital Radio Tracker, the Euro Indie Music Chart and the World Music Stage Countdown. It went on to earn the pair a number of awards, and a Grammy consideration for “Best R&B Performance”. They followed up that initial success with a pair of hit singles that brilliantly displayed their versatility. “Home Tonight”, produced by Buddy Wike of the R&B group Intro, showed a more playful side of the pair, and its EDM remixes electrified dance floors around the world. Their critically acclaimed holiday song “My Kinda Christmas” was featured in the iconic “Right On!” magazine (digital), and is well on its way to becoming a new holiday standard.
Norm and Julia have shared the stage with some of the biggest names in 80’s, 90’s and 2000’s R&B; acts  like Christopher Williams, Hi-Five, DMX, Force MD’s, Meli’sa Morgan, Intro, Shai, and Allure, among others. They have appeared on major daytime television programs, including “The Q” (WXTF Fox 29, Philadelphia) and “The Morning Blend” (KGUN ABC 9, Tucson).
